She will be speaking on this year’s theme of Accessibility in Graphic Communications with a focus on humanity first, design later. Dr. Shuman is an Assistant Professor in the School of Graphic Communications Management and the Director of the Design and Learning Research Lab at The Creative School. She teaches courses on visual communication design, and her research interests include design education, design-based learning and critical design studies.
